Celebrated Designer Kelly Wearstler to Launch Furniture Collection with E.J. Victor
Morganton, NC. January 2015 — Fine furniture maker E.J. Victor announces a licensing partnership with renowned global interior and lifestyle designer Kelly Wearstler. The collection, which includes seating, tables, case pieces, beds and fine upholstery, will debut in April 2015 during High Point Market.
Described by Architectural Digest magazine as an “author, blogger, outré fashion plate, branding virtuoso, and decorator and muse,” Wearstler’s designs, from decorative home accessories to lighting to fine furniture, have long been in demand by connoisseurs of distinctive home products.
“As a long time admirer of the brand, I am thrilled to have partnered with E.J. Victor on this upcoming furniture collection,” Wearstler says. “E.J. Victor is world-renowned for its commitment to superior craftsmanship. Using my signature materials, including warm bronze, cerused woods, gunmetals, semi-precious stones and parchment, each piece in this new collection draws upon my distinct design vocabulary to evoke a voice that is boldly unique and soulful. This collaboration aims to be modern yet timeless in the tradition of my signature ‘raw and refined’ aesthetic.”
“Kelly and her team are quite ingenious in executing her designs,” said E.J. Victor President and CEO John V. Jokinen. “She has a great following within the design community. I am positive that her new creations will generate some real excitement next spring at High Point.”
